Gail's favorite early spring hues include purple, lime green and blue. Surrounding the gazing globe is a stunning color combination.

Our herb shop carries mountain phlox, a low growing mat of green with short upright spikes of the most incredible periwinkle color blue...

Neon lights hosta a bright short hosta, once established...can be split and moved around to fill your gardens with a punch of spring color!

The front door to Roseledge gardens opens to the many gardens of this historic property of John Meech 1720. Where roses scent the air, masses of colorful blossom's burst from the beds, bees and butterflies flit happily about.

This is my inspiration. With the help of her husband Sandy and some local boys the plantings provided a palette of flavor and a color combinations that we use in our most requested recipies.

Once I got started (4/94), I couldn't stop myself...and the gardens now go on and on...

When winter arrives here, the garden books come out, and sitting by the wood stove in the early hour of the dawn is my favorite time.

Our grdens take a little while to to get started but with the arrival of the red wing black birds to begins. In a quiet way, the buds of the black pussy willow tree open, and the yellow finches begin to brighten up yellow. You know it's here when the sun peeks in the west kitchen window and it begins...

Tunnel and root celler...
These are located behind our barn, and the tunnel is belived to be used to exit the house when under attack by the local native indians. The root celler is a favorite hiding place for our hens.
Our crazy pea fowl think they are getting out of the spring rain by stiking their heads up under the patch of May apples!
Ruhbarb is growing fast this spring...pie anyone?
